Forest Preschool for Ages: 3-4

An all-outdoor forest preschool program for children ages 3-4 that invites young learners to grow and thrive in the natural world.
Our simple daily rhythm includes stories, songs, and outdoor adventures at Maple Valley’s beautiful Arboretum, with plenty of time to explore and discover the wonders of nature with friends. Our Mentors support holistic development by celebrating creativity, curiosity, and self expression as children learn about the connections between themselves and the animals, plants, and seasons. Children will also have the opportunity to explore garden-to-table concepts and fresh foods as part of their curriculum. Please pack a snack.

An indoor/outdoor farm preschool program for children ages 3-5 that combines stories and art to inspire creativity, imagination, and healthy emotional expression.
The rhythm of the day includes exploration of hands-on art inspired by stories and mythology. We save plenty of time to interact with their natural surroundings, care for and cuddle animals, and enjoy plenty of unstructured play time at our cozy Maple Valley farm. Crafts will reflect sustainability through use of eco-friendly and recycled materials. Our Mentors promote holistic development by celebrating creativity, curiosity, and self expression as children use art to explore concepts from the stories, such as empathy, kindness, courage, and diversity. A farm-based indoor/outdoor preschool program for children ages 3-5 that nurtures their creativity and social-emotional growth with the animals and gardens on our cozy Maple Valley farm.
Pull on those rainboots and grab your shovel! Explore the farm and learn about the natural cycles of the world through the joyful lens of early-childhood. Practice growing food from seed, plant flowers for bees, explore protected wetlands, create felt from alpaca hair fibers, or learn to talk to a pig! Our Mentors promote holistic development by celebrating creativity, curiosity, and self expression as children learn about the connections between themselves and the animals, plants, and seasons. Children grow their social and emotional skills, such as empathy, cooperation, and communication, in a nurturing and supportive environment. The rhythm of the day includes connection time indoors, with plenty of time spent outdoors learning to care for and cuddle animals, as well as unstructured play time with peers.
