Dee Hope

Owner of The Little Red Barn Studios
Farm and Academic Program LEAF
Advising Mentor

G’day!

My name is Dee and I’m a local Aussie who has been lucky enough to join the Ashlar team in 2023.

For the last 25 years I have worked, managed, and trained with many amazing creative and educational programs – including special-needs animal enrichment classes, Indigenous Australian youth leadership, and a Montessori kindergarten and elementary school.

As a classically-trained Opera singer, actor, and musician, I am passionate about encouraging a love of music and the arts in all. I also run my own small after-school music program from my Little Red Barn Studios.

In my non-working life I am a proud momma of three. I write and record music and I take care of my own farm of 17 rescue animals, volunteer at wildlife rehabilitation/rescues, run a community women’s group, and lead a Girl Scout troop.

I am passionate about the environment and equality, adore exploring and collecting, reading, cooking, art, building and furniture restoring.

My goal in life is to show kindness and embrace the unique to create beautiful things and forever be learning!
