Estefani Spicer

On-Call Mentor

Estefani is fluent in English, Spanish and French. Having a passion for children, she completed her undergraduate degree in preschool, kindergarten and elementary education from French Canadian University, Université de Sherbrooke. 

​

After finishing her studies, she moved to the Roaring Fork Valley, in Colorado to work as the lead ski instructor with SkiCo for skiers ages 2-4. 

​

Wanting to make better use of her teaching degree, she accepted a position and worked as the Lead Kindergarten and Preschool Teacher for the Montessori and Waldorf schools in the Aspen Valley.  In 2021, she received the Teachers of the Year award by Summit54. 

​

In 2022, she completed the State of Colorado READ Act Literacy training and is also certified as an early childhood yoga instructor. In her teaching she values kindness, open communication, integrating healthy habits and nurturing the child.  

​

During her free time, she enjoys running marathons, has a passion for the outdoors, enjoys trying out new recipes and any kind of artistic activities.

Ashlar is a WA State nonprofit organization pending 501(c)3 status, dedicated to whole-child, nature-based learning in community.
