Little Red Barn: 22621 SE 206th St, Maple Valley, WA 98038
PLEASE NOTE: The entrances to Maxwell Rd. from Rt. 169 (Renton-Maple Valley Highway) are all one-lane underpasses. Your GPS may show these as an option, but we strongly advise against using any of the direct access turns from 169. We suggest accessing Maxwell Rd. from 216th (at Cascadia Pizza) or SE Lake Francis Rd. (off Cedar Grove).
Drop off procedures: Enter Little Red Barn from the FIRST driveway on the right as you turn onto SE 206th St. The slight incline takes you directly through the open gates, past the private residence and to a red barn. We have set up the driveway for easy drop-off. Continue past the residential driveway and basketball surface towards the Little Red Barn.
Please wait to drop off your child until you have reached the barn, where a Mentor will meet your child, check them in for the day, and guide them to a safe location away from moving vehicles. If you need to park, spaces are available before you reach the barn. Please avoid driving on the basketball surface near the residential driveway. Once your child is in the care of a Mentor, please pull forward past the barn and exit to the left. Pickup will follow the same path.
Drop off is no earlier than 5 minutes before the start of class in order to give Mentors enough time to set up each day. There is limited parking available, so we ask that you please avoid arriving early for pickup.
Weather notice: We will notify families if driving conditions change the drop off routine. Maxwell Rd. follows a creek that is prone to overflow during rain or snow melt events. We will recommend families follow the Cedar Grove access from the north (indicated in pink on the map) in the event of mild road flooding.
